Emanuele Biggi
Wildlife photographer and TV presenter
Emanuele is an Italian naturalist with a Ph.D in Environmental Sciences and an Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers. He is mainly focused on the smaller creatures, conservation of nature and science-at-work photography and strongly believes in the power of science communication and the role of photography to share the hard work of all researchers both in their labs and during fieldwork.
Emanuele is also the Italian broadcast TV presenter of 'GEO', a TV show about nature and environment airing live each day for three hours from September to May on RAI 3 channel.
He's the author and curator of scientific exhibitions with whom he tries to bring nature to people, to raise the awareness about all the beauty and issues of the natural world.
On 2018 he published a book called "Predatori del microcosmo" containing texts and photos of his main passion: the smaller hunter creatures he loves and which build the backbone of every land ecosystem.
Emanuele is a winner and finalist of various international photography prizes and speaker at international photography symposiums and festivals.
